Why Reparations? It began with 246 years of legal slavery in which we extracted wealth from the lives of African Americans. At the time of the Civil War, close to 4 million African americans were enslaved, 13 percent of american total population. After the war, instituional injustices focused on sealing their land and jobs and ensuring the African Americans did not build wealth as fast as the rest of Americans.

What is the African Manifesto
African Manifesto
The word African specifically relates to the indigenous people of the African continent and their descents in the Diaspora ( Caribbean , Americas , Arabia , etc). The race-nationality model such as that currently employed by African-American, African-Brazilian and African-Caribbean communities more accurately describes the identity whilst fully articulating the history and geopolitical reality.
The miscellaneous usage of the label 'Black' within this site reflects its contemporary use as a means to denote a specific
sociocultural and political context. It is recognized as a colloquial term that was fashioned as a reactionary concept to derogatory racial epithets in the 1960's. It is offensive when used as a racial classification code word to denote African people. Other such denigrating terminology when made in reference to African culture, heritage or identity are 'Tribe', 'Sub-Saharan Africa', or 'black Africa '.

What We Know (and Don't Know) About This Year's Bilderber Meeting
“This year’s Bilderberg conference begins Thursday. The secretive gathering of global elites is the stuff of conspiracy theorists’ dreams. Held at the Interalpen-Hotel Tyrol in the Austrian Alps—less than 20 miles away from the summit of leading industrial nations known as the Group of Seven, or G-7—Bilderberg has an attendee list that reads like a who’s who of imperialism and global capitalism.

New Military Spending Bill Expands Empire
On Friday, the House passed a massive National Defense Authorization for 2016 that will guarantee U.S. involvement in more wars and overseas interventions for years to come. The Republican majority resorted to trickery to evade the meager spending limitations imposed by the 2011 budget control act - limitations that did not, as often reported, cut military spending but only slowed its growth.

A Nation of Consumers Will Never Be Free and Powerful
You have not seen any nation on this earth consume itself into power – gain power by spending only. You will never see a nation that is a nation of consumers ever be a free nation and a powerful nation in this world. You will only see nations who have made it in this world economically; that are nations that are productive, and have control over the means of production which means property, resources, both human and non-human resources and materials.

Chaos – not Victory – is the Empire’s “Name of the Game”
“Once again a country “liberated” by the West is sinking deeper and deeper into chaos.” Global Research. This could be anyone of the countries in conflict, where Washington and its Western and Middle Eastern stooges sow war – eternal chaos, misery, death – and submission. This is precisely the point: The Washington / NATO strategy is not to ‘win’ a war or conflict, but to create ongoing – endless chaos.

Matters of Race and Class: How 'Whiteness' is One of the Greatest Scams in Modern History
The idea of "whiteness" as a strict racial category superior to others is an invention of Europeans, who needed to legitimate and normalize a system of white on black chattel slavery, global empire, and colonialism as being preordained by nature and God. Yet the “common sense” belief that the racial ideology known as Whiteness has always existed is one of the greatest tricks in human history. In all, Whiteness is a new invention. The ways in which it has been naturalized signals to its powerful role in an American society that was built upon a foundation of white supremacy, and that continues to maintain institutionalized systems of white advantage over people of color in the 21st century.”

It Takes More Than Street Protests to Produce Change
On the Thursday before Baltimore burned, Mr. Lee went to Washington. He didn’t have far to go. Rev. Tony Lee is the 46-year-old pastor of Community of Hope, an AME church housed in a shopping mall in Hillcrest Heights, Maryland, just minutes from the D.C. line. Under the auspices of the National Coalition on Black Civic Participation, a Washington-based advocacy group, he led a delegation of 200 African-American men to Capitol Hill. They went to their capital to talk to their legislators about issues that impact their lives: racially stratified policing, education reform, voting rights and more.
